foulsitter friend forever

The following is negative criticism on the episode. I have no intention to ruin your fun if you happen to enjoyed it. I say this because the comic really IS intended to be tongue-in-cheek. Luckily, most of you have been able to understand that. :)

"A Canterlot Wedding" was a very badly written episode.

Two other complaints:
- How did Twilight get a princess foalsitter? She wasn\'t even a student of Celestia yet.
- Brother has no time to write a letter but has time to make the decision of marriage. Yeah...and when you decide to marry you don't marry immediately, y'know.

On the bright side: I loved Pinkie Pie and Rarity in this.
Animation was swell too, but that's often the case. My complaints are about the writing.

I agree completly about that episode. I really felt the writers "shit the bed" with that particular story plot. We find out that twilight has a brother that we have never heard of before that apparently she is really close to. No believes here something may be wrong even though it appears only her brother is being manipulated with magic when she is the one most often first to notice correctly something is wrong, not even the princess who should recognize that Cadence has become absolute ragging bitch seemingly at random. Finally there is the fact the "Goddes" gets shacked down witht little to no effort. WHAT THE HELL! Wow. I really hope this episode was some kind of major accident on the part of needing to pull shit out of the ass really quick or I need to start worrying about season 3.

I kow this is an old comment.
But having an brother you are close to yet none of your friends know it does happens in real life. I'm close to my brother but I never bring him to conversation neither does he with his friends. Siblings is one of those topics that don't come up that often unless some one ask you if you have them.

Also no one beliving Twilight seems that is part of her character and the other charcters (even the princess) just wrote of Cadence being a bitch as being under preasure (or her period on or the other). Also Celestia god like power levels are mostly a fandom thing. I don't blame the writers for the flaws. Most of them exist becasue this was a 2 parter instead of a 3 parter. There is just so much you can write for 40 minutes.

I like the commic though. It encapsulates the absurdity of the epissode and twilights faces are cute and funny.
